Post-Doctorate in Public Administration at the University of Texas in Austin, United States. Ph.D. in Political Science at the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. Master in Urban Development at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil. Graduated in Administration at the Universidade Federal da Bahia.
Research and publications focused in the area of Public Administration, focusing on themes on institutional analysis and comparative studies, metropolitan management, social capital, citizenship, local power, and municipal management.
Researcher at the Graduate Center for Management (NPGA/EAUFBA). Experience as a member of the College of the International Public Policy Association (2017-2021). Experience as a member of the Scientific Committee of ANPAD in the Public Administration division (2018-2020). Experience as an event director (2018-2020) and Scientific Director (2013-2016) of the Brazilian Society of Public Administration (SBAP).
