Ariádne Scalfoni Rigo

My focus is on civil society organizations. I am interested in their relations with the field of public policies, with the notion of territory and with the processes of evaluating social utility. I believe I contribute to social transformations in this path of research and teaching.

Ph.D. in Administration at the Universidade Federal da Bahia, with a sandwich internship at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, France. Master in Business Administration at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil. Graduated in Administration at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil.

Research and publications focused on intersectoral relations between State, market and society, public policies, and solidarity economy, associations, evaluation and civil society organizations, and shared economy.

Experience as a deputy director of the Graduate Center for Management (NPGA/EAUFBA, 2017-2020) and as an editor-in-chief of Organizações & Sociedade Journal. Member of the editorial board of Cadernos Gestão Social (2012-2015).
