Fábio Almeida Ferreira

I believe teaching and research on communication and creativity are fundamental to develop people, organizations, and territories.

Ph.D. in Media Studies from the Department of Radio, TV and Film at the University of Texas at Austin, United States. Master’s degree in Information Science and graduation in Administration at the Universidade Federal da Bahia, Brazil. Specialization in Business Management at FGV/ICEF, Brazil.

Research and publications focused in the areas of creative industries, creative territories, creativity and organizational communication.

Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Development and Social Management (CIAGS/EAUFBA).  Experience as a member of the Creative Economy Observatory of Bahia and as a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Contemporary Communication and Culture at the Universidade Federal da Bahia.
